We are excited to announce that Darrell White has joined the cast of our Western TEXAS RED. He will play Ben Chester White, an African-American cowboy who became involved in the Texas Red ordeal and was tragically lynched many years later.
This will be White’s first time acting in one of our films. He is a scholar and historian based in Natchez where he works with Visit Natchez and is well-known for being the long time curator of the Natchez Museum of African-American History and Culture. He brings to our project not only his talents as a performer but also his vast knowledge of African-American history, including his research about the character he will be playing.
