We are excited to announce a national casting call for Big Harpe, one of the lead roles in our Western THE WILDERNESS ROAD.
This is a paid role and this will be a SAG project. Submissions are accepted from anywhere in the U.S.
All video submissions are due July 30th by the end of day. Please read all the guidelines and the description of Big Harpe below:
Big Harpe
- Age Range: 30s to 40s
- Ethnicity: Caucasian
- Physical Attributes: tall, broad, a big presence, must be able to grow a beard
- Skills: horse riding and weapons experience is a major plus but not required
- Description of Big Harpe: he and his brother Little Harpe are robbers and murderers. They are merciless killers with no regard for human life. Think of the killers in The Devil’s Rejects. Please Click Here to read the wikipedia page on the Harpe Brothers.
Submission rules
- Please prepare and perform these two scenes provided in the hyperlinks below:
- We are accepting submissions from both Non-Union and Union actors. Talent will be paid according to the SAG ULB rate.
- Production will take place in Mississippi and other Southeastern states during October/November 2020. Talent will be provided meals during production and lodging if they are not local.
- As stated above, we are accepting submissions from anywhere in the U.S. but any local talent will be given special consideration.
- Video must be shared with us via Vimeo, YouTube, or a shareable Google Drive link. DO NOT USE Dropbox or WeTransfer.
- Video audition must include a slate introduction with your name, where you’re located, and any special skills you have pertaining to this film.
- Actors have two weeks to submit their videos. All submissions due July 30th by the end of day.
