We are excited to announce a national casting call for Lemmy, a supporting role in our Western SHE WAS THE DEPUTY’S WIFE.

This is a paid role and this will be a SAG project. Submissions are accepted from anywhere in the U.S.

All video submissions are due December 7th by the end of day. Please read all the guidelines and the description of Lemmy below:

  • Age Range: 25 to 50
  • Ethnicity: Caucasian
  • Physical Attributes: wiry, possibly short-statured, awkward-looking.
  • Skills: experience with firearms (not required but a plus).
  • Description of Lemmy: The other deputy in town, Lemmy is the misfit of Sheriff Bob’s men. He is often made fun of or ignored by Bob and his deputy Jonathan. Never taken seriously or given much responsibility, Lemmy is resentful and bitter. No one sees that he does have a clever, conniving side. When he sees an opportunity to rise to the top, he will do whatever he needs to ascend to power. If this story has an Iago (Othello reference for you non-Shakespeare readers), it is Lemmy.

Submission rules

  • Please prepare and perform these two scenes provided in the hyperlinks below:
