While selecting the 52 short stories we will adapt to the screen in 2013, I felt the immense urge to find some American baseball tales and who could I go to other than Ring Lardner. His stories are both humorous and sincere takes on the game. Horseshoes is our 21st adaptation. You can read the story here.
