This is an open casting call: first come, first served. We welcome all experience levels. We will see as many actors as we can from 10am to 4pm. You can find a character breakdown and sides here: http://
We make low-budget films. Some principal cast will be paid, providing the final budget allows it, but not all roles will be. Please do not audition if pay is a necessity. As of now this is a non-SAG project. We will make an announcement if that changes. Also our production will take place in Mississippi in April 2018. Please be prepared to travel and work as a local if you are offered a role. Details can be worked out with the producers.
Son of a Gun is inspired by a true story, set in and around Vicksburg, Mississippi. The film takes place during and after the Civil War and we would describe it as comedy film with touches of tragedy.

I wanted to make the first call for the film but this date is much more agreeable with my work schedule. Looking forward to seeing the great folks at Running Wild in Pensacola!
