Our 3rd Casting Call for Son of a Gun will be held in Monticello on February 9th
We’re excited to have our 3rd casting call for Son of a Gun in Monticello, Mississippi at the Lawrence County Civic Center.
This is an open casting call: first come, first served. We welcome all experience levels. We will see as many actors as we can from 2pm to 8pm.

We make low-budget films. Some principal cast will be paid, providing the final budget allows it, but not all roles will be. Please do not audition if pay is a necessity. As of now this is a non-SAG project. We will make an announcement if that changes.
Our production will take place in Mississippi in April 2018, most likely in the Vicksburg area for most of the shoot but we may try to film some parts of the movie in Monticello.
Son of a Gun is inspired by a true story, set in and around Vicksburg, Mississippi. The film takes place during and after the Civil War and we would describe it as comedy film with touches of tragedy.
