D.H. Lawrence is one of the most important British writers in history. Among many novels he wrote some short stories. You Touched Me, which tells the story of two sisters and a long-lost brother/orphan’s tension over their father’s death, is my choice for the sixth of our 52 adaptations. You can read it here.
