This week we wrapped the first third of BLACK EROS, our newest full-length project, which features legendary actor/director/playwright Douglas Turner Ward.
He flew in from New York on August 4th and we filmed scenes featuring his character from a script written by Gus Edwards. It was incredible to watch Doug work. James and I marveled halfway through the week at how good he is as an actor.
Gus Edwards co-directed the film with myself. James Alire managed audio with his usual efficiency and speed. Michael Coleman joined us on two nights to operate a second camera. All of us were very excited and proud of the work we have done. Keep checking back for more about BLACK EROS.
