Characters and Sides for Son of a Gun Auditions

Below you will find character breakdowns and sides for the principal and supporting roles in our new film Son of a Gun. Here are a few important notes to remember:

  • This breakdown does not feature all the characters in the movie. There are many more but we are using these characters/sides to audition and test talent for ALL roles.
  • Some of these parts require singing. Please read carefully to our directions below.
  • To open the sides, click the hyperlink below each character and you should be able to see a PDF in your internet browser. Let us know if you have problems.
  • The more you learn/memorize the sides, the better. However if you need the script during the audition, that is acceptable.
  • A reminder that if the budget allows we will be able to pay actors in the principal roles ONLY and even then a small amount. If pay is your main concern/priority, please do not audition because we make films on very low budgets. We are looking for actors of all experience levels who want to be part of a Mississippi movie and will benefit from the experience, credit and footage for their reels.
  • Production takes place in April.
