Last Casting Call for Son of a Gun in Jackson on February 10th

We have announced the last casting call for Son of a Gun in Jackson, Mississippi at the Capri Theatre . Facebook event page here.

This is an open casting call: first come, first served. We welcome all experience levels. We will see as many actors as we can from 10am to 4pm.

We make low-budget films. Some principal cast will be paid, providing the final budget allows it, but not all roles will be. Please do not audition if pay is a necessity. As of now this is a non-SAG project. We will make an announcement if that changes.

Our production will take place in Mississippi in April 2018, mostly in the Vicksburg area.

Son of a Gun is inspired by a true story, set in and around Vicksburg, Mississippi. The film takes place during and after the Civil War and we would describe it as comedy film with touches of tragedy.

    Hey this is Jayde Dispenza and I would really like to be in a movie from y’all,I am a 13 year old girl and I would really appreciate if you would give me a chance to be in a movie. One of my favorite things is to watch movies with my family. I also live in Vicksburg Mississippi making things easier. Please let me know what I need to do to audition for this movie.

    I am a student learning under Cotton Yancy. Just getting started . I have loads of free time and could work free in any job on set you might need. Only drawback is that I am not able to do heavy manual labor. can drive, set out a craft table. Get coffee etc. Let me know if you could use me on your set.
