We are excited to share with you that character actor and Hollywood legend Mitchell Ryan will play the role of the Blind Rancher in the sixth of our 12 Westerns, Heart of the Gun.
Mitchell Ryan’s career in the movies has spanned decades and including everything from playing the lead villain in Lethal Weapon to a recurring role on the hit sitcom Dharma & Greg. He appeared in classic Westerns, playing the antagonist in Monte Walsh opposite Lee Marvin as well as supporting roles in Clint Eastwood’s High Plains Drifter and The Hunting Party starring Gene Hackman. Ryan also agreed to be our special guest at last year’s Western film festival in Vicksburg, Mississippi where the above picture was taken. In Heart of the Gun, the sixth of our 12 Westerns, he will play a blind rancher who aids our lead characters Travers and Sarah in their journey.
