I am excited to announce I have chosen the lead actress for our film about Pearl Hart. Lorraine Etchell will play the female outlaw in The Woman Who Robbed the Stagecoach.
Lorraine Etchell auditioned for the role at our recent casting call in Globe, Arizona. Though she has no previous acting experience, I felt that she truly was Pearl during the audition. Lorraine is local to the Globe area and recently graduated from The School of Architecture at Taliesin.
The Woman Who Robbed the Stagecoach is inspired by the true story of Pearl Hart, one of the only women who ever committed such a crime and went on to be famous around the U.S. because of it. The film starts production in August and will be the eighth of our 12 Westerns. Casting announcements for this project will continue soon.
