Producer Butterfly Rose Cherry has joined the team for our 12 Westerns. She will be a producer on Heart of the Gun, one of our Westerns slated for production in Arizona. Butterfly is a graduate of the film school at University of Arizona and also has a MBA in Marketing from ASU. She recently produced Killing Margery Keller, a feature film which is currently on the festival circuit. You can find her here on IMDb.
Heart of the Gun tells the story of Travers, a doctor who deserted his military post, searching the frontier for the wife who left him. His quest is thrown off course when he saves Sarah, a woman left for dead after a wagon raid. With the cavalry, the law, and deranged outlaws on their trail, Sarah and Travers set off together to find this missing woman. Heart of the Gun is a psychological thriller and a romance drama wrapped in a gritty Western setting.
