We are excited to announce actor Shayn Herndon will play the male lead role Paul in She was the Deputy’s Wife, one of our 12 Westerns.
Shayn and I originally worked together on the set of Alex Cox’s Tombstone-Rashomon. I was so impressed with his acting that I have wanted to cast him since then. She was the Deputy’s Wife begins production in March 2020 in Southern Arizona. The gist of our story in a few sentences:
A horse thief is due for execution. A Marshal wants him kept alive for all the wrong reasons. A deputy wants only to see justice done. And the deputy’s wife has fallen in love with the outlaw. They come together one day to fight for loyalty, power, and desire.
