We are excited to present a Western Film Festival, created by The Strand Theatre in Vicksburg and Running Wild Films

Men of the West, our Western film festival, will feature showings of Western classics such as BITE THE BULLET, MAN OF THE WEST, MONTE WALSH, and HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER with our special guest Mitchell Ryan, who appears in the latter two along with playing the villain in Lethal Weapon and a long history in the movies and TV.
There are only 50 Festivals passes available. There are also a limited 30 individual tickets available to each single event.
Festival passes include:
1. Tickets to all movie showings (Bite the Bullet, Man of the West, the Western Silent Shorts Hour, Monte Walsh, and High Plains Drifter).
2. Special admission to the Saturday night reception with Mitchell Ryan
3. Special admission to the Selected Readings of the 12 Westerns in 12 Months.
All proceeds will go to support The Strand Theatre and our 12 Westerns in 12 Months.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st

Introduction by Travis Mills discussing the connection between this Western and the horror genre.
4pm – SILENT WESTERNS

A selection of the work of Western film pioneer Thomas H. Ince with an introduction by Travis Mills

6pm – Reception with Mitchell Ryan
Festival pass holders ONLY mingle with festival guest/actor Mitchell Ryan. Complimentary snacks will be available.
