One of the biggest things that’s going eat up your budget is food. You have to feed people on set! Now since my very first feature I’ve been getting a majority of our meals for free. Crazy right?

No, I’m not a dumpster diver like the characters in my movie The Big Something. My strategy is to find local restaurants who want to become sponsors of the movie. All I ask is they donate one meal to our small cast and crew. Here’s an example of the kind phone call I would make (see video).
