I would like to announce the release date for the next Running Wild film: A Month in Mississippi will be available online for stream and download on April 16th.
A new direction for Running Wild (labeled The Rucksack Division), this is not a documentary but a travel film. Originally inspired by the writing of Bruce Chatwin in his exploration of South America, I decided to capture part of the country in ways that it might not normally be seen. The film features images of landscapes and people from Mississippi as well as local music from Bill Abel, Rocket 88 and Cadillac Funk.
