Running Wild Journal #1
Detective’s Calendar is a short film told in twelve short segments. Shot in fragments on a Flip Video camera, it’s a different direction for our work.
The other night Jason Cowan and myself completed three scenes for the film. Acting as two-man cast and crew, we captured three locations in less than two hours. A shower scene lit by candlelight would have been the highlight of our shoot if it weren’t for our work in the parking lot.
On a whim, we turned a chase scene into a battle of perspectives and taped the trusty old Flip to my face. It was good old fashioned ingenuity. It was creative and it was fun.
