What I remember most about this shoot is forgetting to bring the boom microphone and having to make an excuse after everyone had arrived to drive home to Mesa and back. In many ways, these early films of Running Wild can either be categorized as visual experiments (I Want to Know Why, Detective Shaves) or short plays (The Night Life and this film). We bounced back and forth between these two opposite styles of film and in time I believe found the middle ground.
