I still don’t understand why this short of ours has received so little attention. Of all the things we’ve done, this is one of a handful I’m most proud of. Why? It’s pure story. Michael (his first time working with me) and I went out to Turf Paradise and shot for a good part of the day without permission. The performance is great. The tension is good, I think. And the mystery… I’m a sucker for mystery. So I hope at some point people will watch this damn thing more. It’s one of the best damn things I ever made.
